Massih Nilforoushan, AIA, LEED AP is a licensed architect and building science consultant at Morrison Hershfield and an Associate Instructor at the School of Architecture, University of Utah. He received his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from the Art School of Tehran, Iran. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in Architectural Studies. Massih has more than 12 years of professional experience in architectural design and research. His design and research work has been recognized and awarded and published by different institutions such as the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Rocky Mountain Institute, Utah Department of Heritage & Art, Technology | Architecture+ Design, and Procedia Engineering. Massih’s research focuses on high-performance building envelopes, building thermal and hygrothermal performance, and parametric modeling.
