Coming from the opposite side of the globe as an international student, I think it is a huge achievement for me to get recognized and honored. It opens new opportunities to enrich my architectural journey and boosts my confidence to explore my potential and make an impact in the U.S.” She adds, “I feel very blessed that I got to study here at the U. I am excited and hopeful for the future that waits for me.”

Prof. Timothy Adekunle, who nominated Aastha for this award, states “Aastha is an outstanding student who has excelled in many areas… [and] currently serves as one of our Graduate Teaching Assistants at the University of Utah School of Architecture.” According to Prof. Adekunle, Aastha has contributed immensely to tutoring and supporting undergraduate students of architecture.
